The Fulda/Murray County Central Warrior Wrestlers have finished their season and although they didn’t send anyone to the state tournament this year, they did show some real improvements. In 2022 5 of 11 wrestlers placed in the section individual tournament and this year 10 of 13 wrestlers placed.

This year the section 3A wrestling tournament was held in Jackson, MN and the Warriors performed well.

This Warrior Wrestling team is coming along quite nicely as they are improving and wrestling every match with integrity, becoming men, learning from mistakes and preparing for the future. Our 2 seniors this year are Rylan Klein and Carter Benda. It was an honor to have them on the team and hope the best for them in their future endeavors.

Also Kody Kramer was voted assistant coach of the year in a poll taken at the tournament. Kramer, with his wife, Crystal and new daughter Rilee are a very integral part of the program. Kramer loves the sport, loves these kids, and shows it during the duals, tournaments, and in the practice room. Kramer is a full time farmer running his own cattle operation and sharing in the family farm as well. Kramer is 100% devoted to both his family and the wrestling program and everyone shares in this sacrifice. Thank you, Kody.

Now we start looking forward to next season and a new crop of 7th graders going through the NYWA system, freestyle Greco wrestling, Camps, weightlifting and preparation. Good luck Warriors. See ya next season.
