MADISON, MN - It was a little windy but overall a good day for the section meet.
Starting off with the boys team they took 10th place overall. Evan Baumgardner placed 16th (17:43.49), Caleb Appel, 48th (18:58.24), Silas Stapek, 61 st (19:30.28), Jon Olsem, 78th (20:06.10), Tanner Graphenteen, 81 st (20:07.74), Zach Kirchner, 95th (21 :04.81) and Rylan Engelkes 99th (21 :14.08).
Girls team took 2nd place and earned a state trip. Amanda Overgaauw won the section meet with a time of 18:01.58, Ashley Overgaauw 4th (18:51.92), Brylei Schreier 9th (20:10.30), Ella Stapek 22nd (21:14.96), Quinti Parra-Mendez 34th (22:13.49), Megan Bakke 38th (22:23.30) and Ryanna Schreier 50th (22:46.67)
Overall, a great section meet with a lot of pr’s and a great way to end the season. Good luck to the Warrior girls advancing on to the state meet.
