Plum Creek Library System invites everyone to a virtual event with bestselling author Allen Eskens on Thursday, February 5, at 7:00 p.m. The event is free and open to all. The evening will include a live author presentation followed by a drawing for signed copies of Eskens’ books. Participants can watch from home using Zoom or attend a local watch party. In Murray County, Slayton Public Library is hosting a watch party at The Plaid Moose Coffeehouse.
Watch from Home (Zoom) Attendees may watch online using a Zoom link posted at www.slaytonlibrary.org/events. The presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the Zoom waiting room will open a few minutes before. The program will last about 60 minutes.
Watch Party at The Plaid Moose - Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the presentation will be shown on the large screen starting at 7:00 p.m.
Anyone planning to attend the watch party is asked to register with Slayton Public Library staff by phone, email, or in person. All attendees will have access to decaffeinated coffee, punch, and water. A limited number of free meals are available. When registering, attendees may ask about meal availability.
