The Slayton American Legion Auxiliary’s Girl State citizen, THERAN MANNON with Auxiliary members. From L to R, Jan Bryan, Merry Hollis, Theran Mannon, Sharon McClure, Sheryl Larson, & Shirley Carlson. Theran visited our July meeting to report on her week of experiences at Girls State at Bethel College in St. Paul. She did a fantastic job in describing her day to day experiences. Very informative. She was elected Mayor of the Girls State city of Daisy and really had a lot of interesting & fun experiences. Our Auxiliary Unit enjoyed her report and enjoyed meeting such a great representative of Slayton Youth.
