The Murray SWCD currently has State Cost-Share dollars available to assist landowners with installing conservation practices. It provides interested landowners with the necessary funding to control erosion from wind and water on their cropland.

Eligible State Cost-Share Conservation Practices include terraces, diversions, grass waterways critical area stabilization, wastewater and feedlot runoff control, filter strips, and sediment basins.

The Murray SWCD provides cost share with the land occupiers up to 75 % of the eligible cost. The Murray SWCD and Southwest Prairie Technical Service Area provide the technical assistance including layout, design, and practice inspection checkout.
