SOUTHWEST HHS SHIP ANNOUNCES RIBBON CUTTING FOR NEW E-BIKE FLEET AT END-O-LINE IN CURRIE

Southwest Health and Human Services’ Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the launch of a new e-bike fleet, available for public use to explore the scenic Casey Jones State Trail. The event will take place Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at End-O-Line Park in Currie, Minnesota.

The e-bike initiative is the result of a collaborative effort between Box Car Wind, SHIP, and the Taylor Family Farm Foundation, united by a shared vision to promote physical activity and encourage residents and visitors to enjoy the beautiful prairie views along the trail.

“This project combines health, recreation, and our natural environment in an exciting new way,” said Janet Bush Public Health Educator SHIP. “We hope these e-bikes will inspire more people to get outdoors, stay active, and experience the beauty of our community.”

The ribbon cutting will feature remarks from project partners, photo opportunities, and the chance to be among the first to try the new e-bikes. The public is invited to attend and celebrate this for Currie and the surrounding area.
