The Slayton Area Community Band welcomes you to Gullord Park on Thursday, June 30th at 7:00 PM for our fourth concert of the season. This concert is our Patriotic concert! We will be having a special guest and piccolo expert Dr. Janet Heukeshoven from St. Mary’s University be joining us for this concert. EVERYONE is welcome to attend! We will start with “The Star Spangled Banner” and continue with “Fanfare Americana”, An American Celebration”, “Let Freedom Ring”, “Big Four March”, “Sing for America”, “Armed Forces- The Pride of America”, “American Salute”, and “The Stars and Stripes Forever”. We hope to see you there! Please come and support our Band, Military, and Military Families!
We will also be playing for the parade in Balaton on Saturday, July 2 at 2:00 PM. If you are in the crowd, please cheer on the band! We love to hear your support!
Schaap Sanitation Relay for Life Team will be offering Grilled hot dogs courtesy of Monogram Foods, variety of chips, homemade bars and beverage for $8.
