The Slayton Community Band will be busy this week! Please join us for our June 16th concert at Gullard Park! The music will start at 7:00 P.M., under the direction of Mark Holton, with The Star Spangle Banner followed by a wide variety of music. We will be playing the John Williams Movie Adventures, Sweet Caroline, The Roaring Twenties, Under the Double Eagle (this is our young people’s March this week), Edelweiss, Chattanooga Choo Choo, A Salute to Glen Miller, and Those Fabulous Oldies.
The Kim Holm Agency Relay for Life team will be sponsoring a Pulled Pork Sandwich Meal, chips, cookie and beverage from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm in Gullord Park before the Community Band Concert. $10.00 for a meal and $6.00 for a sandwich only. All proceeds for Relay for Life!
On Saturday, June 18 the Community Band will be making an appearance in Fulda at 6:00 P.M. for their parade. We hope to see you there. Shout loud and proud to support the band!
