It was a cooler day on the course for MCC golf as they competed in a duel at Worthington. The Rebels brought a full squad for both boys and girls to compete against a challenging Trojan squad. MCC didn’t rise to the top of the leaderboard, but was able to get in some good experience on the course prior to sections.
MCC’s golfers had a lot of ups and downs throughout the meet. The greens were playing fast, which gave the Rebels some difficulty. However, MCC players used the opportunity to improve their putting game. Elie Meyer came in low for the girls with a 49. Meyer parred two holes and ended tied for 3rd place individually. On the boys side, Trey Veldhuisen was the low scorer with a 48. Veldhuisen carded three pars and a birdie.
