ECFE WELCOMES FAMILIES TO PLAY, LEARN AND GROW TOGETHER
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) at Murray County Central is a welcoming place for families with children from birth through kindergarten entrance.
ECFE provides an opportunity for children and their parents or caregivers to play, learn, explore, and connect in a fun and relaxed environment.
Each ECFE class includes three important components: Parent Time, Child Time, and Parent/Child Time.
Children participate in age-appropriate activities that support their development and build skills for kindergarten and beyond. Parents and caregivers have time to connect with other families, discuss parenting and child development topics with a licensed Parent Educator, and learn ways to support their child’s growth and learning at home.
During Parent/Child Time, families come together to enjoy activities that encourage positive interactions, learning, and connection.
ECFE is a place where families can ask questions, share experiences, build relationships, and enjoy meaningful time together.
Classes are led by a licensed early childhood teacher and parent educator, with trained paraprofessional support as needed.
Families interested in ECFE can register or learn more at www.mcc.mntm.org/page/ecfe. Questions can be directed to Sam Wynia at samantha.wynia@mcc.mntm.org.
Come play, learn, and grow with us!
