MCC Boys Basketball had their Awards Program on Monday, March 27 in the MCC auditorium. Among the other awards being given out, the team was recognized as an Academic All Conference team with a combined GPA of 3.49. Many “just for fun” awards were also given out using stats to declare winners.
Those included the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar award for the leading scorer/game - Bryce Hoekman, Steph Curry - best free throw percentage - Aidan Dierks 74% and Carter Hanson(B-Squad) 81%, DeAndre Jordan - best field goal percentage - Christian Tentinger 55%, Steve Kerr - 3 pt. percentage - Max Miller 46%, Gavin Gillette 39% and Tanner Graphenteen 38% (Tanner also led the conference).
The list went on to include assists, rebounds, blocks, steals, minutes in the game, charges taken, and all the way down to most fouls!
