The MCC Rebel Baseball team was on the road Thursday looking to pick up another win in the Red Rock Conference. The Rebels were in Heron Lake to take on the Coyotes of Heron Lake Okabena Fulda. The Rebels would dominate this game throughout, getting a big lead early and never being threatened for the lead. The Rebels would pick up their second win of the week.

The Rebels’ bats led the way against the Coyotes, as MCC combined 11 hits with 5 walks and 7 Coyote errors to score 12 runs. The Rebels took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning. In the field, the Rebels played a solid game behind MCC starter Krew Schneider, who pitched five and a third innings. Schneider gave up 6 hits and 4 earned runs, but three of the runs came after the Rebels had gone ahead 9 to 1. Schneider struck out 7 Coyotes in picking up the win.
