Pictured are Loreena Luetgers (left) of the Worthington Early Risers Kiwanis Club representing the Minnesota-Dakotas District Kiwanis, Slayton Kiwanis President Curt Jensen (center) and Past President Marilyn Carlson (right). Loreena presented the Slayton Kiwanis Club the Minnesota-Dakotas District Distinguished Club Award for 2021-2022 at the November 15 Slayton Kiwanis meeting. The recognition is awarded based on achieving five of the criteria for a “Distinguished Club.” Those include gaining at least seven new members, being a Children’s Fund Contributor, a K Kids Club Sponsor, having a Signature Project, and CLE Training. Very few clubs achieve this distinction.
