“Up with Recovery 22 will be held on Saturday, September 24 from 5 until 9 pm at New Life Treatment Center, a small faith-based 501(c)3 non-profit serving people for the past 45 years, in Woodstock, MN at 130 Dakota Street South. This free event is open to people who are in recovery, as well as anyone who wants to honor or support persons in recovery. The free event features family-friendly activities including games, horse rides, etc.), a craft sale, a meal, live music and speakers sharing their inspiring stories of how, with effective treatment and support they have overcome addiction and live drug-free lives, and concludes with a “recovery walk” tracing the path of the 12 steps with luminaries honoring those in recovery, those we’ve lost to addiction and mental illness, those who continue to struggle in active addiction, as well as those who have passed in recovery. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and a free will donation, if you wish, and join us for a great evening!”
