The final items are being finished today (9/20) on the new gym floor! The cove base around the entire gym is being installed and the volleyball floor sleeves are being cut and set. The final finish coat was applied yesterday and now it needs 7 full days to cure before anyone can be on it. On the 27th-29th, a deep clean of the rafters, bleachers, walls, etc. will take place. It will be available for our use starting on Oct. 2. We will have our first event on Oct. 5th (Volleyball vs. Lakeview).
We will be having a short dedication the night of Oct. 5th before the varsity volleyball match takes place at approximately 6:45 p.m. All are welcome and invited to attend. We will be providing a little history of the old floor, recognize our corporate sponsors, all other level donors, and a dedication of the new Woodstock Communications Court.
This is a great new addition for our students and the community. Thank you for your patience during this process.
