Applications are now being accepted for the Murray County Summer Internship Program. The program is an initiative aimed at connecting college and PSEO students with valuable local career opportunities. Sponsored by Murray County and administered by the Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council (PIC), the program will offer up to $17 per hour for up to 29 hours per week throughout the summer.
With the goal of placing 8 college or PSEO students in internships aligned with their career interests, the program hopes to showcase the diverse and rewarding job opportunities available in Murray County.
Students returning home to Murray County during summer break now have an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills, and explore potential career paths in their hometown. Students from outside the area will have the opportunity to get to know Murray County and all it has to offer.
PIC will coordinate interns with Murray County employers to ensure a seamless integration of students into the workforce, while providing businesses with access to motivated and skilled interns.
