The Murray County Historical Society will be holding their 2025 annual meeting on Sunday, October 12th at the Key Largo Ballroom starting at 2pm. There will be a short business meeting followed by a presentation by local author and historian Janet Timmerman. Light refreshments will be provided.
Timmerman will be speaking on her latest book, “Halcyon Days: Leisure at Lake Shetek.” If you have attended one of her recent author talks, fear not! At this event she will be presenting new information not discussed at previous talks.
