Murray County Foundation representatives Judy La-Boda and Nancy Laible met recently at Murray County Central High School with Counselor Mary Beech. The Foundation has set a goal to raise $10,000 for its 2021-22 school year scholarship fund. Some of the scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and some are based on economic need.
Foundation Vice President Judy LaBoda hopes that the community will support the scholarship effort by donating directly to Murray County Central High School or working with the Foundation.
Students representing the High School ‘cheer squad’ were on hand to provide some additional motivation for the scholarship effort.
