A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD July 6, 2023 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners; Malone, Gunnink, Meier, Welgraven and Thiner.
Also present: Emily Ackerman, Carolyn McDonald.
MSP to approve the agenda without additions.
MSP to approve the minutes from the June 27, 2023, meeting.
MSP that all claims as presented were approved for payment. The Chairman was authorized to sign the Audit List dated July 6, 2023 with fund totals as follows and warrants numbered 171562 through 171603: County Revenue Fund 32,526.86 County Road & Bridge Fund 55,668.36 Self-Insurance 2,000.00 Sunrise Terrace 24.39 Total 90,219.61 MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditches No. 76A, (76A)18 and Judicial Ditches No. 14 and 15 totaling $7,394.04.
MSP to move the Extension Administrative Assistant position to a .8 FTE Universityhired Administrative Support Specialist position.
MSP to approve Ag & Solid waste director Jon Bloemendaal to travel outside of the state to attend the NAISMA Conference.
MSP to approve hiring Amy Foster, as the Museum Coordinator effective July 11, 2023, at grade 8, step 1.
MSP to approve Amended DVHHS Fiscal Host Agreement.
MSP to allow the Board Chair, County Administrator and Auditor to accept and sign the grant.
MSP to accept the Emergency Management Performance Grant ARPA and set a price not to exceed for Natural Gas hookup and plumber fees.
