HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR TO RETIRE
The regular meeting of the Murray County Board of Commissioners was held on Tuesday, October 03, 2023 with a short agenda that was completed in thirty minutes.
Acceptance of Third quarter donations was slated for this minutes. The only donation, in the amount of $25, was accepted to offset general expenses of the Sheriff’s department. Ditch Inspector Travis Radke had only two repair petitions to present. Both of these were in Commissioner Gunnink’s area. One was on County Ditch 81 for repair of a tile line. The second was on CD 20 calling for removal of a beaver dam. Gunnink continued her questioning of the process to bring additional land into the County Ditch 11 system. In the recent Redetermination of Benefits of the system the viewers failed to add those acres for assessment. Highway Engineer Randy Groves asked for a bid opening for three upcoming bridge replacement projects. He also asked for approval for the purchase of a new tandem
