A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD October 1, 2024 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present in person: Commissioners; Malone, Gunnink, Meier, Welgraven and Thiner. Also present in person were Carolyn McDonald and Emily Ackerman.
MSP to approve the agenda with additions.
MSP to approve consent agenda item #3.1 September 24, 2024 Regular Meeting Minutes, and Consent Agenda item #3.2 Commissioner Warrants dated 10/01/2024 for the amount of $132,099.67 numbered 175340 through 175387.
MSP Resolution 2024-10-01-01 Murray County Board of County Commissioners Review of Proposed State Land Acquisition.
MSP to approve a subordination agreement for Murray County Tax Parcel ID# 05026-0021 for a Murray County Septic Lien (Recorded Document #266553), further moving to authorize the County Board Chair and Auditor-Treasurer to sign the agreement on behalf of the County.
MSP Resolution 2024-10-01-02 A Resolution Accepting Donations For 3rd Quarter 2024.
MSP to pass on the donation of tax parcel 28-150-0040.
MSP to approve ditch inspection report for County Ditch No. 54, and Judicial Ditch No. 14.
MSP to approve and sign the final pay request with Towne & Country LLC for projects SAP 051-604-030, SAP 051-616-007, SAP 051-626-007 for the amount of $33,944.18.
MSP to approve Conditional Use Permit #1424 for Dave Kremer to construct a lighthouse using an alternative method of elevation in the flood fringe district of the Residential, Shoreland Overlay, and Floodplain Overlay Districts on Lake Shetek, a General Development Lake for Lot 3 of Govt Lot 1, Less .04 acre, and 1 acres in SE Corner of Lot 4 of Govt Lot 1, Section 1, Mason Township, Murray County with the findings and two (2) special conditions recommended by the Planning Commission.
MSP to appoint Annette Fiedler to the board of adjustment to finish out Grant Bose’s term.
MSP Resolution 2024-10-01-03 A Resolution Recommending the reappointment of Janice Moen, and the appointment of Ryan Blom and Jeff Davis to the Lincoln Pipestone Rural Water System Board of Commissioners.
MSP to approve a $100,000 forgivable loan to Wonder World from EDA operational funds, contingent on project being fully funded.
MSP to approve a $750,000 forgivable loan to Wonder World from Murray County undesignated funds, contingent on the project being fully funded and encourage Wonder World to approach the ARPA committee for funding with a sunset date of July 2026.
