Murray County 4-H hosts its third annual Turkey Bingo event with the help of the Monogram Foods Loves Kids Foundation.

This event was held at 6 p.m., Friday, November 15 at the Murray County 4-H Building, 3048 Broadway Ave., Slayton. This was a free event that was open to the public, all ages were welcome to attend! There was a beef commercial meal served for all the attendees along with several games of BINGO! Almich’s Market graciously donated the turkeys for this event, there were also local gift cards and various games/ toys available for prizes. Thank you to Sharon Staples for being the BINGO caller throughout the evening! We had over two hundred and ninety people attend plus twenty-nine Murray County 4-H Ambassadors and staff!

“It’s amazing to see so many of our community members come out for an evening of fellowship together! Regardless of age, every time there was a bingo, there were cheers for the winners and so many smiles on the youths faces when they left. Three hundred people is a lot to serve, but everyone was so appreciative that there no complaints when we started to run out of meals.” – Kim Hause, Murray County 4-H Youth Development Educator
