MURRAY COUNTY 4-H IS SET FOR ANOTHER YEAR OF AFTER SCHOOL ADVENTURES PROGRAM IN FULDA & MURRAY COUNTY CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

Events have been created, flyers have been shared, it’s time to start our Murray County 4-H After School Adventures series in Fulda and MCC for youth in grades K - 6!

There will be one monthly session held at the Fulda and Murray County Central Elementary Schools, the same theme, just different dates and location. Fulda’s will be held at 303 N Lafayette Ave., Fulda, MN 56131 where MCC’s will be hosted at 2640 Forest Ave., Slayton, MN 56172. All sessions will be held from 3 – 5 p.m. on the dates listed below and will include a healthy snack and hands-on learning activities. The cost is $5/ session or $30 to attend all seven sessions per youth member. The monthly session themes include October – “Can you Walk the Talk”, November – “Hearty Fall Foods”, December – “The Calm Before the Holiday Crazy”, January – “Sharing the Best You”, February – “The Biggest Heart”, March – “Worldly Impacts”, and April – “Returning the Favor.”

Fulda dates are October 9, November 13, December 11, January 8, February 12, March 12, and April 9.

MCC dates are October 14, November 18, December 9, January 13, February 10, March 10, and April 14.

What does it take to build the best you? Each session is designed around the motto of Head, Heart, Health and Hands. As always, reflection will be done at the end where the 4-H’ers will share their thoughts with others.
