Murray County 4-H along with the Murray County 4-H Ambassadors hosted their annual Cloverbud PJ Party on Friday March 24th. The annual Cloverbud PJ party is hosted each year to give the youngest 4-H’ers a turn for an event just for them.

The theme this year was zoo animals! Cloverbuds were asked to come dressed as their favorite zoo animal or in their favorite pajamas. Cloverbuds participated in several STEM activities, animal trivia, learned fun facts about animals, and several other activities were available for the youth to participate in! The purpose of the 4-H Cloverbud Program supports the positive development of children as they explore their world, discover the possibilities, build self-esteem, and practice the basic social skills. These will be the basis for becoming competent, caring, contributing citizens.

The 4-H Cloverbud Program is designed for youth in grades Kindergarten through second grade (K-2). Youth must be enrolled in kindergarten and at least 5 years old on September 1 of the current school year to enroll as a Cloverbud.

If you are interested in joining 4-H please contact Kim at the Murray County Extension Office, 507-836-1144.
