Murray County 4-H along with the Murray County 4-H Ambassadors hosted their annual Cloverbud PJ Party on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Murray County 4-H Building. The annual Cloverbud PJ Party is hosted each year to give the younger 4-H’ers a turn for an event just for them.
This year’s theme was SUPERHEROS! Cloverbuds were asked to come dressed in their pajamas or a superhero costume. The youth participated in several STEM activities, decorated their own cape/ mask, made a sign that will be exhibited at the 2024 Murray County Fair, and enjoyed some snacks and several other activities.
The purpose of the 4-H Cloverbud Program supports the positive development of children as they explore their world, discover the possibilities, build selfesteem, and practice the basic social skills. These will be the basis for becoming competent, caring, contributing citizens. The 4-H Cloverbud Program is designed for youth in grades Kindergarten through second grade (K2). Youth must be enrolled in kindergarten and at least 5 years old on September 1 of the current school year to enroll as a Cloverbud.
