Murray County 4-H was awarded a Monogram Foods Loves Kids Foundation Grant to host multi-generational community events. The third of five Community Nights was hosted this last Sunday at the Murray County 4-H Building. Winter Olympics was the event for the day where there were several events that people competed in which included snowball fights, pool noodle hockey, snowflake salt drawings, 100-meter snow race, bread making, and many more. Soups and bread were served during the event.
The next Community Night is February 10th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Murray County 4-H Building where we will be having family Valentine’s date night. This event will be partnered with Slayton & Fulda Public Libraries for a spaghetti and meatball supper.
The last Community Night event will be March 3rd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Murray County 4-H Building. The event for that night will be games and trivia. Walking tacos will be served. All ages are welcome. You do not need to be a member of 4-H to participate!
