Murray County 4-H was awarded a Monogram Foods Loves Kids Foundation Grant to host multi-generational community events.
The first of five Community Nights was hosted this last Saturday at the Murray County 4-H Building. Turkey Bingo was the event for the night. A BBQ meal was provided.
Turkeys were generously donated by Almich’s Market of Slayton.
The next Community Night is December 10th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Murray County 4-H Building where we will be celebrating the holidays. There will be holiday crafts, holiday cookies, snacks and beverages with take home holiday goodies The last three Community night events will be January 8th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm for Winter Olympics where soup and breads will be served at the Murray County Fairgrounds, February 10th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for family Valentine’s date night- partnered with Slayton and Fulda Public Libraries for a spaghetti and meatballs supper at the Murray County 4-H building and March 3rd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for games and trivia night with Walking Tacos at the Murray County 4-H Building.
All ages are welcome. You do not need to be a member of 4-H to participate!
