Murray County 4-H hosted their fourth summer program day camp where they created three county fair ready arts & crafts projects!
This summer day camp was held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 25 at the Murray County 4-H Building,
3048 Broadway Ave, Slayton, MN. Youth received customized letters that they were able to glue colorful yarn around to use as a décor piece. Another project the kids completed were coasters that could either be painted, drawn, or use wire nails and do yarn art with. Lastly, each 4-H’er learned the art of hydro dipping a pot used for gardening and made some pretty creative designs. There was a
$10 charge to attend. 49 youth attended, as well as 11 volunteers that took time out of their day to help us with this event. We greatly appreciated having you at our camp!
