The Murray County 4-H Ambassador team worked together to create tie-blankets to help those in our community.
This group met on Sunday, December 1 in the Murray County Courts Meeting Room, 2848 Broadway Ave, Slayton. Each person was able to pick out their own pattern and create a blanket that will help a local veteran in the Murray County area. Even though this is an activity we have done in the past, it seems to be a favorite of our youth! They are always looking for ways to give back to their community. We are proud to have thirty-five Ambassadors that we have here in Murray County alone, becoming one of the largest Ambassador groups in the state of Minnesota.
“We are really proud of the work and the initiative that our Ambassador team has had! They have lots of upcoming service project ideas for the 2025 year!” – Kim Hause, Murray County Extension Educator, Youth Development.
