For more than 30 years, the Minnwest and Friends team has proudly participated in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life, coming together to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones lost and fight back against cancer.

Throughout the years, our team has been inspired by family members, friends, coworkers and community members whose lives have been touched by cancer. A highlight of our journey has been our creative themes. Over the decades, we have embraced many fun and memorable themes including Titanic, Gilligan’s Island, Star Wars and many others. These themes have brought fun, laughter and community spirit to our fundraising efforts.

This year’s Relay For Life event will be held on Saturday, August 8th. We invite everyone to join us for an evening of food, fellowship and fun. Enjoy delicious pork burgers, refreshing malts and activities for all ages while supporting the American Cancer Society.

As part of the event, Luminiaria may be purchased for $10 to honor a cancer survivor or in memory of a loved one lost to cancer. The Luminiaria Ceremony is one of the most mean-ingful traditions, lighting the way with messages of hope, remembrance and support.

Minnwest and Friends has remained committed to the Relay For Life mission: Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back. We are grateful for the community’s continued support and hope to see everyone at the Murray County Fairgrounds on August 8th.
