SLAYTON AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY CANDIDATE LINDSEY HAUSE
The American Legion Auxiliary is sponsoring its 76th annual American Legion Auxiliary Minnesota Girls State program Sunday thru Saturday, June 1117, 2023.
Girls State is a program for young women who have just completed their junior year of high school.
Girls State is a week-long experience of learning about Minnesota government at the local, county and state levels by their participation in the process. The participants will organize and participate in various levels and branches of government. Every girl will hold a government office or will become a member of the House or Senate.
Highlights for the week include campaigning, elections, Inauguration of the Girls State Govenor and State Constitutional Officers, debating bills in legislative sessions held in the House and Senate Chambers, and conducting Mock Trials in the Judicial Center at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul. The Slayton American Legion Auxiliary is happy to announce our candidate for American Legion Auxiliary 2023 Girl State is, LINDSEY HAUSE She will be attending Girl’s State @ Bethel University, St. Paul, MN., June 11-17th, 2023.
