This person regularly exceeds job expectations, prioritizes patient care and safety, is compassionate and caring, promotes positivity in the workplace, is reliable and hard-working, has excellent communication skills, and respects others. Barbara Bangasser: Support Services Employee Excellence Award Award to acknowledge a non-direct patient care employee who goes above and beyond in his or her job duties. This person demonstrates outstanding performance and consistently exceeds goals and job expectations every day, effectively establishes and organizes priorities, problem solves with minimal assistance, demonstrates job readiness, promotes positivity in the workplace, motivates and works well with others, and is reliable, loyal, and hard-working. Mary Mesner: The Brian Peterson Commitment to Teamwork Award In memory of Brian Peterson, a dedicated, compassionate, and extraordinary teammate, coworker, and friend. This is an award given to an employee who is always willing to go above and beyond to help others. This person is dedicated, reliable, selfless, and exhibits flexibility in his/her job duties to ensure others have assistance when needed. Amber Humphrey: Distinguished Leadership Award Annual award presented to an employee in a management or leadership position whose individual and collaborative efforts demonstrate integrity, mentorship, positivity, and success of his or her department and the facility. This person is dedicated, reliable, and inspiring to others. This individual provides employees with the tools they need to succeed, effectively communicates with others, is innovative, and continuously looks for ways to improve and grow as a leader Lindsey Sell: Nurse of the Year Award This award acknowledges a nurse who shows exceptional leadership in supporting and demonstrating how we live our nursing values in our daily professional practice. They use their clinical leadership and skills in their daily practice and contribute to the broader community in an outstanding manner. The qualities shown by this employee includes teamwork, advocacy of Murray County Medical Center as well as an advocate for their patients, a leader in their dayto- day lives, compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to caring for others. Melanie Behrends: Clinician of the Year Award Awarded to a provider who exemplifies extraordinary clinical practice, leadership, compassion, teamwork and delivers a high standard and quality of care to our patients. This individual is dedicated to MCMC, passionate about our community, is a mentor for other providers and employees, and plays a key role in the success and growth of our facility.
