“Murray County Medical Center’s Foundation held its annual Best Ball fundraiser recently on July 19th and it was a hole-in-one! The event, golfers competing in a best ball format, raised crucial funds for the foundation’s mission.
The tournament was made possible thanks to the support of local sponsors. We are grateful to our sponsors for their generosity and commitment to giving back to the community.
On the course, teams battled it out for top honors. Congratulations to the winners, Kim Holm Insurance’s team. Second place went to Minnwest Bank’s team.
But it wasn’t just about the competition - our event also featured special contests that added a layer of excitement to the day. Our very own Dan Woldt won the putting contest and Bianca Weis with the female’s longest drive. The men’s longest drive winner was Mitchell Magnus.
All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the foundations’ efforts to raise money for healthy projects and initiatives for Murray County communities. With your help, we’re able to make a real difference in the lives of the residents of Murray County.
This year, we’re proud to have used funds that we have raised to support a range of important initiatives, including: $20,000 donated toward a portable ultrasound machine $3,000 donated to new playground equipment at Gullord Park We are grateful to all our participants, sponsors, and volunteers for their hard work and dedication to making this year’s event a success. We look forward to next year’s tournament and another chance to bring our community together for a great cause.”
