By Allie Paulzine The Murray County Central/ Fulda Warriors wrapped up their season at the MSHSL Class A State Cross Country Meet on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights. Sophomore Aiden Appel had a standout day, running a personal- best time of 16:39.9 to place 25th overall and earn All-State honors. His disciplined pacing and strong finish secured a spot among Minnesota’s best, marking a major highlight for both him and the Warriors’ program.
Senior Matthew Stapek capped off his high school cross country career with determination, placing 67th in 17:15.6 after a steady and consistent race. Junior Alexander Betz followed close behind, clocking 17:25.7 for 77th place, showing the team’s strong depth and competitive spirit. On the girls’ side, junior Mara Clarke battled tough competition to finish 86th in 20:51, ending her season with one of her best efforts of the year. Together, the Warriors showcased teamwork, grit, and growth on Minnesota’s biggest stage.
