The Murray County Central Activities Department would like to recognize the 2021-2022 MCC Triple A Award winners. Ciera Tutt, daughter of Kerry and Lisa Tutt, has been selected as the female student-athlete and Dawson Blankenship, son of Dan and Kristie Blankenship, is the male student athlete.

The purpose of the Triple A program is to recognize and honor high school seniors who have excelled in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in the fine arts. The program elevates students’ academic standards and creates greater awareness of League-sponsored activities and their values. The Triple A award provides member schools of the League with the opportunity to participate in a statewide program that supports, promotes, and recognizes academic and extra-curricular achievements.

To be eligible for the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award a student must: be a high school senior at the time of nomination. Nominations are limited to two qualifying students per school, one male and one female. The nominees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the date of nomination. They must participate in League-sponsored athletics and fine arts activities while complying with the MSHSL’s Student Code of Conduct policy. The last nomination criteria is the student athlete must complete the application form.
