MCC Speech had a strong performance at Sections on Saturday, April 18 in Redwood Falls, placing 4th. In Humorous, Walker Biren placed 5th. In Extemporaneous Speaking, Holland Vogel placed 1st, and Wesley Hause placed 2nd. Both advance to State Speech. In Serious Prose, Annie Scandrett placed 1st and will advance to State Speech. The State Speech Tournament (Class A) will be on Saturday, April 25 at Park Center H.S. in Brooklyn Park.
