It was a beautiful day at the Slayton Country Club for MCC’s varsity and junior varsity to face off in a duel against HLOF/WWG on Tuesday. There was some stiff competition, but overall a fun round for both teams. The Rebels were able to work on their game in preparation for their upcoming meet on Thursday.

MCC’s girls team represented well, defeating HLOF/ WWG 225 to 229. Ciera Tutt carded a 48, landing her in the runner up position. Tutt parred holes 2 and 4 and played consistently throughout the meet. On the boys side, Hudson Schryver led the Rebels with a 55. MCC’s boys came up short against HLOF/WWG, losing 234 to 188.

The boys will be home this Thursday and girls at Sanborn for their second red rock conference 18-hole meet. The Rebels will need to step up their games if they want to be in the conference running as a team.
