For their Christmas Project, MCC Elementary School put together Birthday Bags to donate to the Murray County Food Shelf.
Each grade donated a specific item to go into the bags - cake mixes, cake frosting, candles, birthday plates, napkins. Items are brought to school then the student council assembled the bags. The students were able to assemble 25 Birthday Bags.
The Murray County Food Shelf said, “Thank you, kids!” for a tremendous job! This is the third year MCC Elementary has taken on the Birthday Bag project.
