Matthew Stapek of Fulda High School has been selected as the recipent of the Sub-Region 10 Triple A Award.
Established in 1988, the Academics, Arts, and Athletic Award (Triple “A” Award) is sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League. The award goes to a high school senior with a “B” or better grade point average and who participates in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.
While maintaining a high grade point average and taking advanced College in High School courses, Matthew has been involved in both band and choir large group and solo/ensemble contests - earning superior ratings in both, as well as being actively involved in many theatrical opportunities over the course of his high school career. Matthew has also participated as a multiple sport athlete running cross country in the fall, and track in the spring. He has also earned all-conference recognition in both cross country and track and has participated in the state meet for each as well.
Matthew currently plans to pursue a course of study in Mathematics in his post-secondary education. He is the son of Troy and Elizabeth Stapek of Fulda.
