LOCAL PIANO STUDENTS PERFORMED ON FEBRUARY 6TH!

On Sunday, piano students each performed two solos by memory before the adjudicator, Mrs. Karen Olsen of Canby, to receive a rating score that accumulates year to year. This event is sponsored by the local music club, Successful Music Making. This music teachers’ club is an affiliate of the Minnesota Federation of Music Clubs and the National Federation of Music Clubs.

As numerical points are earned, a gold cup trophy of the appropriate size is awarded at certain intervals. Enhancing their piano performance and musical skills were Alexandra Schuur, Amber Hensch, Amiyah VanEck, AnnaRae Bowman, Ava Lightfoot, Brennen Heronimus, BR Heronimus, Brielle Plotz, Caroline Stoel, Easton Hoffmann, Elsie Knott, Gary Plotz, George Rosenbrook, James Hohler, JoElla Bowman, Lauren Stoel, Logan Stoel, Mason Hoffmann, Paige Schuur, and Shelby Knott. These students of Anna Jeanne Flesner and Christie Gergen were evaluated and rated according to the music composition.
