LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Sadly, I woke up this morning to find 2 of my Harris/Walz and 1 Amy Klobuchar signs stolen out of my garden area. I purposely put them in my garden thinking no one would have the audacity to come into our yard and steel them! After driving around our area of Slayton, we saw that all signs that were displayed on streets were gone, none on the avenues. All, except the Trump signs. I find it abhorrent that I can display my signs, with my own opinion, but those that chose to support the other party are not impacted, suspicious?
Additionally, I was advised to purchase a Ring or Blink to monitor our yard. I really dislike having to spend the money to know that our property is safe! I am grateful that our local law enforcement appreciate that we only lost signage, but they take it very seriously that a theft occurred on our property.
I hope whoever you are that you will realize you are a thief and know that if you are caught, you have committed a crime and stop the thievery!
