The City of Slayton is interested in pursuing funding to ASSIST homeowners, rental property owners and commercial property owners (along Broadway Avenue) with health and safety, energy efficiency, accessibility, and lead based paint repairs. Property owners should have received information on the program and an interest statement in the mail this past week. Property owners that are interested in the program should return their interest statement by September 15th if possible. Development Services will be assisting the City in the grant application process.
