Minnesota gubernatorial candidate John Krhin plans to be in Slayton Sunday, August 2 as part of his statewide 87-county prayer tour. He is expected to be at the Murray County Courthouse parking lot at 2 p.m.
The stop is part of his statewide County Prayer Tour, visiting county seats to pray over our local communities, public servants, and governing authorities.
“My goal is to bring prayer and a call for spiritual renewal to every corner of Minnesota,” Krhin said. “Our state needs leaders who seek wisdom, serve with integrity, and remember that government exists to serve the people.”
Krhin launched the prayer tour following the Minnesota Republican Party state convention, where he emphasized the importance of faith, family, and freedom in restoring the foundation of the state. He is one of several Republican candidates seeking the party nomination for Governor of Minnesota. The Republican primary election will be held Tuesday, August 11.
“The challenges facing Minnesota are significant, and I believe lasting change begins with prayer and a return to the principles that have guided our nation,” Krhin said.
During the tour, Krhin has met with local residents, community leaders and elected officials while visiting county seats throughout Minnesota. The tour is expected to conclude at the Minnesota State Capitol on August 8 after completing visits to all 87 counties.
