This reminds us of an event quite a few years ago. A friend of our great aunt collected dandelion leaves from the first dandelions. Then she made dandelion wine from then.
When it was ready she invited our great aunt over for a sip. A little while after the sip, the room started moving. Both ladies have since passed but the story remains. Along with a bunch of other memories.
Back to our garden and yard.
We presume your gardening and probably yard work too are progressing. Your tulips should be ready to blossom if not already passed. Our lilacs normally are finishing their flowers too in time for Memorial Day.
There should be some closeout sales to the area stores for bushes (especially roses) and other yard plants. At least the days are getting longer so more outside work gets done in between rain showers. Inside the house you have work to be done too including watering
