As the song says: June is Bustin’ Out all Over’.
And so is our work.
The garden is in but possibly with a little space for late plantings.
The yard needs mowing - after the dead branches are removed.
And some trees and bushes need trimming. Not to mention the hedge.
Happily the days are still getting longer.
And, when the work is done, there is time for family outdoor activities.
Sometimes these activities mean trips, sometimes to visit relatives and friends, sometimes just for the family to get away.
And there are many events going on too. Event-wise, Summer is here. Now to make the most of it.
And the same for our yards and gardens. Our garden will start producing edibles we can say we raised ourselves.
And then there’s Farmer’s Markets - for what you didn’t raise yourselves.
And your spending money will stay in the community through another set of hands.
And, back to our yards, its still okay to plant bushes and trees, but be sure to water and care - when its not raining.
Back inside the house be sure to water and care for your house plants.
They will appreciate your efforts.
