April has arrived and spring (outside) should also arrive too. Usually, decent spring weather comes about the second week of April (we have had a late snowstorm then too). Then outside things get going one way or another.
The grass starts to grow. The first spring flowers appear (even if dandelions). The leaves come out on the trees. And - the first unofficial start of spring - the robins show up.
In years past this writer had another operation. We took a hoe out and hoed the dirt to see how far down we could move dirt. If no frozen dirt then it was time to get the garden going. And other things too.
And then the garden. And the yard work. As for the garden, another Burpee seed catalogue has arrived. They now have a tomato which might make three pounds each tomato. Might be nice to exhibit at the county fair - if big and red. Burpee seeds are also available locally too. Back home, be sure to water
Back home, be sure to water your house plants too.
Until next week.
