Time is continuing. The days are getting shorter and the weather cooler.
Some things need getting done. Some we’ve discussed in recent columns.
Others will come up. Some items will have to be put on schedule when last year’s procedure or whatever will need repairs or whatever.
We suspect you have already switched the furnace on. An annual inspection is a good idea too.
Also any house repairs or projects need doing too. Be sure things get done before they become a last minute emergency.
Back inside we also remember its time now to check and update our winter clothing. Do it soon if not already done - before store selections are minimal.
For gardeners we’ve already mentioned getting some fall planting done. Be sure your fall planting gets watered too in case it doesn’t rain enough.
This being October, we’ve already mentioned Halloween. We hope you have a place cleared in your house to store your remaining produce for winter.
Way too soon will be November and this year’s elections. In Minnesota ballots have been mailed out. Be sure to vote for your candidates.
This will keep you busy for a while. Be sure to get things done before they become a crisis.
