By John Stenen Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity has existed forever. Scripture tells us that He created everything in our universe and He holds all things together by the word of His power. Science does not understand why things don’t just blow apart with all the energy in the molecules.
Years ago I read that the University of Minnesota spent fortyfour million dollars trying to discover what it is that holds all things together. When all was said and done they suggested that there is some kind of cosmic glue. What nonsense! Scripture tells us, “professing themselves wise, they become fools.” We are told that we evolved from monkeys? As wicked as much of mankind has become I don’t believe even monkeys would go along with that.
If I could put it very simply; the plan of God as revealed in Ephesians 1:10 is that the day is coming, after roughly six thousand years since Adam and Eve; that God is going to gather together every person who has surrendered to Him and looked to Him for salvation.
In our day and for the last two thousand years, the way we do that, is to repent of our sinful lives and receive Jesus Christ, and allow Him to be Lord of our lives. He is the only means of our salvation. God is yet giving mankind time to do this, but time is running out. Come and become a child of God, the benefits are unbelievable. God bless.
