GOOD NEWS

Imagine being one of the disciples, in the boat in Mt.8: 2327, when the storm was raging, and all feared for their lives? All, except Jesus of course; He was sound asleep. The disciples yell, as they wake Him up, “Lord save us! We’re going to drown!” Sounds like a lot of Christians, when they get into various difficulties; they are sure that there is nothing but gloom and doom. When Jesus wakes up, He says to His followers: “Why are you so afraid? You have so little faith.” (NLT). The Scriptures encourage Christians, hundreds of times, to: “Fear not.” We are never to allow fear to overwhelm us, but to always trust in God and what He says. concerning whatever situation we may find ourselves in. Jesus said in Mark 9:23, “All things are possible to them who believe.” In Mt. 21:22 Jesus said, “Whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.

God is a faith God and Heb. 11:6 tells us “without faith it is impossible to please God….” In James 1:6 we are told that if we waver in our faith, we cannot expect to receive that which we are praying for.

A prophecy was given years ago that I truly believe; it said: “I have told My people that they can have what they say, (see Mark 11:23-24), but they are saying what they have.” We need to get into the Word of God, and learn to speak what the Word says, rather than what our eyes see, and our ears hear. We are to walk and live by faith. (2 Cor. 5:7). God bless.
