GOOD NEWS

The apostle Paul warned us of those who would accept another gospel, another Jesus, and another Holy Spirit other than the gospel he preached to the early Church. (2 Cor. 11:1-4). It seems to me that we are seeing many Churches today that have done just that in the name of ‘tolerance.’

God is Love! One thing I know about true love is that love is willing to confront error. It is not love when someone you care about lives a lifestyle that is contrary to the will of God and you do not warn them that unless they repent of their sinful lifestyle, they will never enter the Kingdom of God.

Jesus preached that; the apostles preached that; but today, preachers endorse all manner of immorality. Read 1 Cor. 6:9-11, and Galatians 5:19-21. Jesus came to save us from our sin, not in our sin. None of us are perfect, but as Christians we are not to allow sin to dominate us, read Romans 6:1-14. The Spirit of God said through Peter, that God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Repentance means to have a change of mind where your sin is concerned and stop practicing sin as lifestyle. Have you truly repented of a lifestyle of sin? Have you surrendered your life to Christ to serve Him and obey His commands. If so, then, and only
